Pharmacodynamics:
Semisynthetic macrolides antibiotics for animals. Similar antibacterial activity with tylosin and has strong curative effect on mycoplasma. Sensitive gram positive bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus), pneumococcus, Streptococcus, Bacillus anthracis, Bacillus rhusiopathiae suis, Lester, Clostridium septicum, clostridium chauvoei, etc. Sensitive gram negative bacteria: Haemophilus, meningitis diplococcus and Pasteurella multocida. Stronger biological activities on Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida and mycoplasma than tylosin. Sensitive to more than 95% Pasteurella hemolysin.
Pharmacokinetics:
Rapid absorption after oral administration with the characters of strong tissue penetration, large distribution volume (> 2 L/kg) and high concentration in lung. The elimination half-life lasted for 1~2 days and effective blood drug concentration lasts for a long time.
Drug Interaction:
(1)Combination with adrenaline can increase the death of swine
(2)Not suitable for simultaneous use with other macrolides and lincomycin due to the same target.
Antagonism was seen combined with β-lactams.
Indications: Infections induced by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida and mycoplasma.
Dosage and Administrations: (In this product)
For swine. Mixed feeding: 1000~2000g /1000kg feed for 15 days.
